With theater makers Leonne de Jong, Carme Koetschruiter, and Koen van der Heijden, I have already created three immersive performances for students in special education: Wolfje, De Ruimtereizigers, and the last one Droomvissers.

I designed a tent that they set up at each school, where they invite the students into this new world. We immerse the children in different shapes, textures, and scents. These rocks made of yarn and textiles are one example of that.

I designed several sensory objects for each performance, for as the children to sense and understand the story telling not through language but through their senses.
