Tapis / MUS-E BELGIUM, Park poétik

Since two years I have been working with Mus-e Belgium, where I lead workshops in several primary schools across Brussels. Over the past six months I worked at Parkschool in Forest, where together with the children, we created a 30-meter-long carpet.

Each child made their own small section of the carpet. They chose a memory, something that made them happy, an everyday moment—and together we developed their design. They brought fabrics from home, which we cut, glued, and sewed together into one long carpet.

During the festive parade of Park Poétik last June, the students had the opportunity to present it to the neighborhood.
